KATHMANDU — The 14 finalists of Miss Universe Nepal 2026 stepped onto the runway on Tuesday for the pageant’s swimwear presentation, showcasing confidence, movement and individual stage presence in a competition format inspired by international modelling presentations.

The swimwear segment featured designs by Glammates Swimwear, with the finalists appearing in their contestant-number order. Each participant was introduced with a brief description before taking the spotlight, allowing the presentation to focus not only on the swimwear but also on the contestants’ poise, walk and ability to command the stage.

The presentation opened with the finalists being introduced around the swimming pool, creating a setting that complemented the swimwear-focused sequence. One by one, the contestants presented themselves before moving out of the pool area and continuing their individual show on the runway.
After emerging from the pool, the finalists prepared for the second part of the presentation, drying off and completing their looks with sandals before returning to the runway. The sequence was designed to test how naturally each contestant could transition from a poolside setting into a polished fashion presentation.

A second visual layer was introduced in the following sequence, as the finalists styled capes designed by Shree Aavee over their swimwear. The capes added movement and drama to the otherwise minimal swimwear looks, creating a more fashion-forward runway silhouette.
The choreography for the presentation was led by Prashant Tamrakar, while Utkrisht Khadka handled the styling. The judging panel included Tico Rega, Sabi Puri, Sanya Adhikari, Monica Spear—Miss Universe 2014—and Prashant Tamrakar.

Rather than being limited to a conventional swimsuit walk, the presentation combined poolside movement, individual runway performance and styling changes, giving the finalists an opportunity to demonstrate confidence, composure and stage presence in an international pageant-inspired format.
