KATHMANDU — Fashion took a distinctly cultural turn at Face of Nepal 2026, as contestants brought their individual interpretations of Nepali heritage through thoughtfully styled traditional looks.

The models showcased a range of cultural aesthetics, blending traditional silhouettes, fabrics, patterns and accessories with their own personal sense of style. Rather than following a single prescribed look, the outfits reflected how young fashion enthusiasts are increasingly experimenting with heritage dressing while keeping it contemporary and personal.

From elegant traditional ensembles to more modern interpretations of cultural attire, each look offered a different expression of Nepali identity. The styling also highlighted the contestants’ creativity, with many of the outfits reflecting their own choices and personalities.

The visual showcase demonstrated that cultural fashion does not have to remain confined to conventional styling. Through individual interpretation and contemporary presentation, the contestants turned traditional elements into fashion statements that felt both rooted and current.

The photographs from the event capture these distinctive looks, celebrating the evolving relationship between Nepali culture, personal style and modern fashion.
