Kathmandu: Global ride-hailing platform uber has officially launched its services in Nepal, beginning operations in the Kathmandu Valley. Users can now book both bike and car rides through the Uber app, marking the company’s entry into Nepal’s growing ride-sharing market. Around 1,000 drivers have already joined the platform ahead of the launch. Uber’s arrival is expected to intensify competition among existing ride-hailing services operating in the country.
